Freeze Dried Ground Beef

The perfect addition to your prepper's pantry for ultimate convenience and long-term food storage. Our quality ground beef is at least 90-10 and sourced from local, premium beef. Most providers of freeze-dried ground beef supply their products in cooked and crumbled form. We feel this limits your use of quality ground beef to soups, stews, tacos, or spaghetti sauces. Our ground beef is safely freeze-dried in raw form allowing you to use this protein for ANY recipe including meatloaf, hamburgers, or other recipes calling for raw ground beef.

Each pound of freeze-dried (raw) ground beef is packaged in a strong, double-sealed Mylar bag with an oxygen absorber for added protection.

Each "flat" of ground beef is one pound of raw (hydrated) meat that weighs approximately 4-6 ounces once freeze-dried. This allows for greatly reduced shipping rates and ease of long-term storage. 

• Quick Re-hydration: In a crisis, time is of the essence. Our freeze-dried ground beef rehydrates quickly with warm water or beef, chicken, or vegetable broth, ensuring you can have a satisfying and nutritious meal in about 30 minutes to an hour. All freeze-dried meats will only rehydrate as much moisture as has been removed during the freeze-drying process. Keep in mind that this product is raw and must be rehydrated and then cooked properly just as any other raw meat.

This product is one pound of RAW ground beef safely freeze-dried and sealed in Mylar packaging for a long shelf life. The freeze-dried weight of this product is 4-6 ounces.

* Note: The shelf life of freeze-dried foods is estimates only and the actual shelf life of our products has not been tested. It is generally accepted that properly packaged foods using Mylar protective bags or pouches with an oxygen absorber will provide an estimated shelf life of 10-15 years or possibly longer so long as the packaging has not been damaged and stored in dry locations at about 50-70 degrees (F).
